Dear Mr. Boyd,

I just wanted to thank you so much for taking the time and energy to come out to Boston to participate in our study and to assist with the press interview for the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).  The RSNA is the second largest medical conference in the world with over 50,000 total attendees which includes over 15,000 radiologists and over 26,000 medical professionals including 9,000 international attendees.  The press interview will be shown at throughout the conference as it was only one of two pre-conference interviews that were selected from approximately 30 press releases of the 1,915 scientific studies that were selected for presentation at this conference.   In addition it will be available to view on the website which receives 1.4 million hits per month and so needless to say, your impact on the medical audience will be quite significant.  There's no question in my mind that our research was selected for this highlighting due to the compelling stories that you shared with us at the interview. Your work with Dignity After Football and congressional advocacy has truly been the catalyst for the awareness of head injury which ultimately allows us to do the research that we do today. (emphasis mine)    I know that you took considerable time from a busy medical and personal schedule in order to assist us and it is sincerely appreciated.  I wish you and your wife the very best and I look forward to sharing with you the video of interview and I expect that additional press coverage will arise from it.

Warmest regards,
